Job description

Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for organizing and controlling project activities and for communicating risks, opportunities and current state of project to other stakeholders.


Essential Functions:

• Prepare document distributions to subcontractors
• Attend and document project meetings
• Review and transmit submittals
• Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets
• Prepare and document extra work orders
• Prepare RFIs per instructions/direction
• Compile contract close out documents
• Format Change Orders for projects/managers
• Document punch list work
• Plans management and printing
• Field Progress Forms/Field Progress Report tracking
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
• HS Diploma with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in managing construction projects or BS/BA degree with no prior experience is a plus
• Experience in Residential Plumbing /Mechanical projects is an advantage
• CAPM certificate is highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications – Intermediate level
• Working knowledge of AutoCad skills is a plus
• Understanding of Procore, Plan Grid or Blue Beam is a plus
• Dependable and responsible who can take direction and work with little supervision
• Excellent communication and group presentation skills


Physical Demands:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Ability to learn technical material
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer
