Luxury Vernon-based company is looking for an organized, detailed-oriented Fabric/Trim/Embroidery Buyer to assist the Design Team. Candidate will work closely with Design Team, Vendors, and Head Production Buyer. This role requires strong organization skills and understanding of deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Issue PO’s
- Track development of new fabrics and embroideries
- Daily update and maintenance sample inventory
- Daily communication with vendors
- Highly organized
- Must be able to multitask
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Must work well with others in a close team environment
- Must be able to work with tight deadlines
- Conduct weekly meetings
Preferred Experience:
- Procurement: 1 year
- Purchasing: 3 years
