Job Description Job Title: Corporate Recruiter Department: Human Resources FLSA Status: Salary Exempt Summary The Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent through generating recruitment plans and onboarding for positions at all levels and areas of the business. This highly visible position will need to network and develop strong business relationships within the industry, as well as with senior management. This person will work with the HR team to develop recruiting excellence for the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Collaborate with department executives to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills • Develop and maintain all job postings; execute all required job postings in a timely manner • Help develop recruitment initiatives, budgets and organizational marketing materials to attract applicants • Develop and maintain network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates • Initiate and maintain contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings throughout recruitment and hiring process • Review and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews/screenings, in-person or virtual interviews as needed, refer candidates to department executives, and participate in applicant interviews as needed • Provide guidance and reference information/materials to department executives in preparation for applicant interviews • Coordinate participation in various job fairs and may be required to make presentations • Develop/maintain contacts and act as liaison with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary to meeting recruiting objectives • When necessary, coordinate with external recruiters and outside employment agencies to attract and identify selected candidates • Research, identify, and recommend best practices for full-cycle recruitment function, including alternative staffing strategies • Arrange travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants • As needed, assist HR Generalist with executing and coordinating new hire onboarding and orientation Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
