Client Overview: Our client is a media company that generates revenue by selling advertising on its web site, and lends its real estate search engine to the web sites of more than 180 United States newspapers.

Recruiter Overview: As the Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, and hiring high-level talent. You will also be responsible for conducting screens and working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage strategic initiatives for recruiting talent in the organization and forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives
  • Source, analyze, and identify candidates, attract and hire the highest-level of talent, and implement innovative sourcing techniques to build relationships
  • Maintain strong relationships with business leaders and establish relationships with new partners and opportunities
  • Serve as a key contact for recruitment and consult best practices for the entire recruitment lifecycle and strategic talent acquisition
  • Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential technical candidates for level of interest, qualifications, and compensation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support improvements and best practices and remain current of emerging industry trends

Key Qualifications: 

  • 5+  years’ experience as a full life-cycle recruiter in a complex and high-volume environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and hyper-growth environment
  • A natural leader who regularly coaches and mentors both peers and clients, providing thoughtful guidance to the recruiting strategy and process
  • Confident in communication and interaction with executive leaders
  • Creative approach to sourcing and maintaining a solid pipeline of talent. Stays abreast of trends, developments, and changes within the industry
  • Knows how and when to leverage relationships to solve problems and meet objectives
  •  Can work within recruiting software such as Workday, SmashFly, and Textio, or similar platforms to streamline recruiting efforts
