Job description

24 Seven is looking for a Footwear Research Assistant for a position with their global sportswear and footwear client headquartered in Beaverton. This role will be a 12-month contract with a likelihood of converting to a fulltime salaried position. While on contract, you'd be eligible for medical, dental, & vision benefits, along with 401k, sick time and holiday pay. The ideal candidate will be located in the Portland area or open to relocating on their own since this role will work onsite up to 3 days/week as part of their hybrid schedule. Brief details are below. 

Ideal Candidate: 
-Someone who has worked in a lab as a coordinator, and/or has data collection experience. 
- Can speak to human footwear testing or apparel. 

Duties  
-Participates in the recruitment and administration of product quality testers.
-Sources candidates, maintains correspondence and all communications with potential candidates.
-Assists with administration and logistics at dynamics and fit trials.
- Maintains tester database ensuring all records are current and accurate.
- Files reports and supporting test documentation.
- Supports product/sample testing logistics.
- Handles a variety of administrative tasks regarding sample management to include: boxing samples, filing and copying, shipping & receiving samples, archiving samples, retrieving samples from archives, ordering supplies.

Skills 
- Demonstrated computer skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, database, Outlook. 
- Coordinator roles in labs in the past
- The position would be assisting the whole team conduct the data collection
- Multitask, sometimes 8 cases at once, organized with information
- Communicate with athletes through email

Responsibilities:
- Engage with researchers and athlete coordinators to understand study details and processes
- Execute on communications, recruitment, scheduling, compensation, and coordination of athlete visits
- Support data collections – preparation of collection space and supplies, markering footwear, athlete conversation, clean up, etc.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with human data collection and/or clinical care
- Experience with biomechanics tools is a plus
- Can speak to human testing and have been in a similar environment in the past would be a big plus
