Position Summary:
The Retail Communications Coordinator (Contract) position supports the needs of our US and Canada retail store locations through writing, editing, and publishing operational communications and reference material. Working with a communications platform, you’ll make sure that communication is delivered to stores on a daily schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
· Draft and post store communications, ensuring a consistent brand voice throughout · Proofing and reviewing communication for grammar and clarity
· Using templates to write and develop communications around promos, marketing, and merchandising
· Manage reference library by uploading updated materials and documents
· Monitoring department shared mailbox
· Communications tool administration
· Perform other duties as needed
Basic Qualifications:
· Excellent written and verbal communication
. Ability to think like the end-user to ensure communications contain the most relevant need-to-know information for the intended audience that helps improve field execution
. Demonstrated ability to deliver creative and innovative communications
· Strong project management and skills o Attention to detail to ensure key milestones are met
. Ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and meet set deadlines
. Strong organizational skills
· Basic understanding of the retail business; previous or recent retail experience preferred
· Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Suite knowledge preferred
· Graphic design experience is not required but is preferred
