Our client, a popular DTC wellness brand, is seeking a Retention Analytics and Insights Manager. To qualify, you must have experience with retention data in a subscription-based business.
Retention Analytics Manager Responsibilities:
- This position will be performing advanced analytics and will design, develop and implement reporting while providing strategic insights to understand and optimize the customer lifecycle journey.
- This position will also design and measure A/B and multivariate experiments and master exploratory analysis and insight, all in close collaboration with partners across the Data team, Marketing, Finance, and other business groups.
- Experience with a subscription-based business will be key for this role.
- Understand, own, and recommend enhancements to lifecycle/retention KPIs.
- Lead retention curve forecasting exercises and LTV analysis in support of strategic financial decision making.
- Identify retention marketing and other opportunities within the subscriber lifecycle journey to impact KPIs that move business health.
- Determine the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing strategies and provide strategic recommendations to optimize messaging and outreach strategies.
- Design and measure experiments and A/B tests to determine the impact of marketing efforts.
- Perform statistical analysis including customer segmentation, experimental design, significance testing, and regression modeling to understand customers and their behavior across platforms.
- Design, build and automate dashboards.
Retention Analytics Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role with at least 2 years in a subscription-based business.
- 3+ years’ work experience using SQL and knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
- Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. (Tableau preferred).
- Understanding of statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis) and experience in applying multivariate statistics to business problems.
- Experience with defining, implementing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – written, visual, and verbal presentations.
- Degree in an analytical field such as economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or computer science. Advanced degree is a plus.
