Retoucher Overview:
As Photo Retoucher, you will be retouching and correcting images for the company’s website and promotional materials. You will also be responsible for collaborating with various cross-functional teams to establish photo direction and selection.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of photo production shoots, including concept development, direction, selection, and execution
- Provide detailed retouching, color correction, and enhancement of photos
- Set and style the product aligned with the established objectives and prepare images and clip, edit, and drop in necessary background
- Solve retouching challenges while maintaining a high level of technical precision
- Maintain digital asset organization - uploading photos, file naming conventions, managing approvals, tagging and metadata
- Self-manage against timelines using a project management platform to track project status
- Be an active member of the in-house creative team
- Effectively communicate with inter-departmental stakeholders
- Maintain top-level output at high volume under tight deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, photography, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years Photo Retouching experience
- Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience on a range of retouching including advertising, editorial and still life retouching
- Working knowledge of all photographic formats and processing skills, including RAW image files, Photoshop, Bridge, and Capture One
- Knowledge of Final Cut and After Effects
- Passionate and takes an interest in the work
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management skills and highly organized
- A robust retouching portfolio that demonstrates consistency and proficiency in retouching, compositing, and color correcting
