Our client, a major apparel manufacturing company, is looking for a Sales Assistant to join their team!
This will be a direct to hire fulltime role that is onsite in Vernon, CA.
Responsibilities:

Supports management of seasonal time & actions; reviews exceptions and drives resolution with partners for late submits/approvals

Oversees on time order placement ensuring purchase orders are issued and accurate
-
Manages on order exceptions and drives timely resolution between supplier and brand; vets and drives creative solutions and options that are brand appropriate with suppliers
-
Assists product development process and owns sample tracking and communication of status updates.

Creates seasonal development and recap charts

Supports onboarding of vendors; processes new supplier requests and coordinates vendor onboarding meetings virtually or on site

Assists with sales department reporting and projects
Requirements:
-
2+ years’ work experience preferably in retail or brand

Bachelors in related field or work equivalent

Experience with an apparel manufacturing company

Ability to work in fast paced environment and is adaptable to change

Team oriented with ability to maintain collaborative working relationships

Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to details

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, word, and PowerPoint
