Our client is a well-known beauty brand that is looking for a Manager, Business Development (focused in Sales Operations), based in New York Office. This role is pivotal in the growth of B2B business at the company and responsible for managing all aspects of existing and new business for Retail, school, and production accounts, while also defining long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating/closing business deals. This role will maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.



• Achieve sale goals and develop strategy within our existing business

• Within existing business develop retailer dot.com strategy

• Generate sales among client accounts, by up- selling and cross-selling

• Research and build new sales leads and contacts

• Create business plans and goals for existing and new clients in collaboration with Director

• Prospect and identify new school distribution

• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network

• Report the progress of monthly/quarterly goals to Director

• Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals

• Forecast new product pipeline for all points of pro-business

• Liaise between the customer and internal teams

• Schedule all education needs and in store trainings to ensure solid partnerships

• Communicate all new product launches to prospective clients

• Process all opening orders and reorders

• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion

• Responsible for providing all pro accounts the available inventory




• Excellent customer service skills

• Highly organized and analytical

• Must be able to adapt to challenging situation and anticipate needs

• Strong ability to work within a team and cross-functionally

• Understanding of processes and budgets required

• Strong analytical skills

• Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Must be available to travel 20% of calendar year
