Job description

We are searching for an experienced and passionate SEM Manger who will be reporting directly to the VP of Growth. The SEM Manager will be responsible of the overall performance within paid search, paid shopping, and display (GDN / YouTube). This team member will be executing the delivery of evergreen and channel specific campaigns, while conducting optimization tactics to meet/exceed company goals. The SEM Manager will be working closely with all performance marketing channels, creative and content teams to generate a cohesive experience for all customer segments. A successful SEM Manager will be proactive, extremely passionate about digital marketing and exceptionally detail orientated. We are well versed in the digital space, and the ability to learn new skills and tactics is required. Being extremely passionate within the digital marketing industry, specifically in paid search, will provide the best opportunity to succeed.

 

Project Management

· Perform day-to-day management and execution tactics for Paid Search, Shopping, and Display campaigns within Google, Bing, and Yahoo within US, AU, and UK markets

· Develop and present SEM and Display performance reports to analyze and adjust tactics to maximize business & meet company goals

· SEM and Display budget management

· Manage and execute channel specific promotion calendar needs

· Work collaboratively across all performance marketing channels, creative and content teams

Project Execution

· Expand SEM accounts through search query reports and industry trends.

· Develop and expand GDN campaigns for prospecting and current customers

· Optimizations including keyword bid management, device bid management, negative keyword development, shopping bid strategies, brand vs. non-brand bid strategies, geo-targeting, etc.

· Granular adcopy development

· Channel exclusive promo calendar development and execution

· A/B testing including landing pages, adcopy, audience targeting

· Cross channel evergreen retention campaign management per customer segment

· New product launch campaign development

· Continuous SEM research to develop new brand awareness strategies / optimizations

Reporting and Communication

· Participates in the development of communications with the ability to present data accurately

o Maintain, update, and distribute weekly performance metrics, budget pacing, etc.

o Maintain, update, and distribute SEM Exclusive Promotion Calendar

o Provide updates on monthly SEM initiatives and report any roadblocks

· Work closely with Creative, Content, and other Performance Marketing team members to generate seamless campaign development.

You Have

· 2+ years experience managing SEM/Shopping campaigns with a $500K+ annual budget.

· GDN, Discovery, and YouTube Display Experience targeting customers throughout the purchasing funnel and ability to target unique customer segments

· Experience with the following tools: Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Search Ads 360, Adwords Editor, Google Merchant Center, Bing Ads, Gemini, and Microsoft Office

· The ability to develop acquisition and retention strategies through paid search / display

· Experience expanding SEM accounts through keyword research and trends

· Optimization skills to expand reach while maintaining ROAS and CPA metrics

· The ability to learn and accurately implement new techniques in a fast-paced environment

· Strong communication skills and extremely detailed oriented

· Strong reporting / presentation skills to deliver accurate performance metrics
