Job description

Our client, a Busy Ad Agency, is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join their team. This will be full time/direct hire or temp to perm! They are currently remote but this may transition to hybrid and their office is on the Westside.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategic thinker with a fundamental understanding of strategy, KPIs, goals and objectives and how they apply to the media and creative development process.
• Collaborative team player with excellent client service, communication, presentation, and organization skills, who can also work independently.
• Experience with earned, and paid media channels, including but not limited to TV/video, digital, banner ads, social media, email, print, collateral, out-of-home, etc.
• Builds strong client relationships.
• Serves as the day-to-day client contact and partners with the cross-functional internal agency team and other partners to facilitate and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Becomes familiar and proficient in client work, priorities, and internal processes that adhere to timely development and execution of projects while making sure clients’ goals are achieved.
• Works closely with the client and the Account Services team with research, creative, media and the development and execution of strategic marketing plans to ensure clients continually receive superior service, thinking and quality from our company and that strategy, planning, programs, tactics, budgets, schedules, creative, documentation, and account profitability stays on track.
• Supports a variety of clients and client project deliverables simultaneously and can manage multiple initiatives at one time while meeting required, often tight, deadlines.
• Participates in research and strategy discussions, developing presentations, supporting Account Services on various projects both for clients and the agency, as well as contributing to new business efforts
• Handles a variety of tasks with little to no supervision including but not limited to opening jobs, crafting creative briefs and work orders, managing creative review process, developing creative rotation charts and traffic instructions across all media types, and ensuring quality assurance of all deliverables.
• Develops estimates and scopes of work as well as manage budgets, creates purchase orders, and facilitates invoicing, and billing. Monitors projects to ensure they adhere to parameters noted in each scope of work.
• Creates status reports and conference reports after client meetings.
• Assists in other projects and agency initiatives and supports team members as needed for other ad hoc assignments and opportunities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Prior experience in advertising, marketing, or creative agency a must.
• Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
•Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to be nimble, problem solve, innovate, and respond quickly to client needs.
• Able to handle a large volume of tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure in a high paced environment.
• Sound computer knowledge, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Teams, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Must be comfortable with digital and social media platforms.
• Email and Website Content Management System experience a plus.
• Experience in Automotive and Health Care or Public Health managing health equity and culturally appropriate communications a plus.
