Our client is a fast growing makeup line that is seeking a new Senior Manager, Key Accounts to join their team! 

Senior Key Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Responsible for profitably driving sales for Ulta and Target by developing and pursing opportunities through advertising, merchandising, dotcom, marketing, education, and inventory management.
• Act as the liaison between the brand and Ulta / Target and creating meaningful partnership with retailer counterparts and instill confidence with overall knowledge and understanding of the retailer and the business.
• Ensure the sell-in and sell-through of forecasted dollar volume and mix of products into the retail account
• Conduct in-depth sales analysis to understand nuances and trends of the business and extract actionable insights to further propel retail and net sales
• Compile all daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports including competitive retail reports and mix of business
• Generate insightful business analysis weekly/monthly and be able to fluently speak to the current and future state of the business, along with plans to address any risks/gaps
• Responsible for Updating all the new products in Ulta /Target PIM
• Responsible for the overall stock levels and ensure appropriate product mix of stock is available with the account by assuring timely ordering, proactively monitoring, and resolving low or out of stock conditions
• Control and update stock and sales plan, product and RTV’s.
• Work with planner to ensure inventory availability and strategy support and execution
• Lead activities associated with new doors and launches
• Responsible for preparing account meeting information.
• Work in conjunction with the CEO, COO and Marketing to establish the promotional strategy for the business, input the agreed upon contracts as well as maintain the budget.
• Communicate and follow up on all necessary business information from buying office to Cross Functional teams.
• Establish strong working partnerships with the CEO & COO, as well as Cross functional teams to acquire key resources, obtain problem solving advice and take advantage of assistance in highly critical negotiations
• Initiate all seasonal gondola VM updates, working with marketing and VM to ensure all updates are executed in a timely manner with attention paid to the time constraints of marketing exposures
• Submit accurate monthly estimates for retail sales and expenses.
• Perform all administrative functions for their account(s).


Senior Key Account Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5+ years’ experience in cosmetic or retail management
• Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Analytical in approach to identifying opportunities
• Must effectively monitor, analyze, interpret and communication business information
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to establish strong working relationship with buying groups
• Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
