General Summary

Reporting to the Global Art Director, the Digital Content Creator is fully accountable for creating and optimizing social media content to meet strategic goals for both social media engagement and audience growth. Working with a variety of creative partners and cross functional teams, this role creates best-in-class content that builds brand recognition and drives revenue.

The role is responsible for designing and crafting digital content for a variety of platforms including IG, YouTube, .com, and email. Works directly with the Global Art Director and Social Media Manager to bring stories to life through a variety of mediums (film, photography, animation, etc). Scope and Complexity Possesses wide-ranging competencies, achieves company objectives, and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Essential

Responsibilities

  • Lead social media content creation by creating, optimizing and monitoring high quality content designed to meet long-term goals for both social media engagement and overall audience growth
  • Brainstorm and develop innovative content and campaign ideas that achieve marketing goals
  • Craft and curate visual assets to be shared across social channels, optimizing for engagement by channel
  • Write effective copy across multiple owned social channels
  • Manage day-to-day social content production and execution.
  • Actively test, optimize, and evolve digital content across channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to make digital content a key component of all campaigns
  • Research and understand how competitors use digital content and identify digital content trends that will deliver measurable results
  • Attend and cover events as determined
  • Manage content for website, social media, and email.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in graphic arts or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced tech, startup or and/or agency environments
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Must be able to concept, script, direct, create motion graphics, shoot and edit films, and take photos with little or no direction.
  • Comprehension of graphic design for social media, digital, and film.
  • Experience working with digital product teams.
  • Experience thriving in fast paced workplace.
  • Ability to visualize a range of solutions rapidly.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Ability to function highly as a member of a team.
  • Proven ability to create high-performing digital content.
  • Knows what type of content works best on which platform and optimizes content accordingly.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and an eye for digital media specific art direction and photography.
