Our client is a leading beauty company looking to add a Senior Global Trade Marketing Manager to their team!

This multifunctional role will provide expertise to the brand and markets with the main objectives to build the brand within different channels.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion and knowledge of the category and global market. This person will tailor strategies to retail and channel specificities, build and deploy 4P’s at global brand and local market level and drive profitable growth. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Co-lead the 3 year brand strategy plan with the global marketing director 
  • Translate global category/brand vision into trade specific strategy with nuances by channel
  • Define and monitor distribution strategy per market and per channel
  • Define global promotions guidelines by brand, by market, local promotion mechanisms, ROI
  • Set global retail pricing in partnership with the Global pricing team
  • Lead innovation sizing and financial projections 
  • Ensure consistency of local plan vs global strategy
  • Work together with marketing/digital and ecommerce teams to amplify online visibility and incremental online opportunity
  • Lead and manage the brand performance reports and share with leadership teams  
  • Work closely with the license team: distribution approval, business update etc…

Qualifications: 

  • 4 year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Related Field, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years related experience in marketing with majority in fragrance marketing or local market 
  • Must demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactiveness and ownership; embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details.
  • Must be able to seamlessly work across multiple projects involving multiple stakeholders and must easily adapt to change and be proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions
  • Must be a self-starter, professionally mature, accountable, resourceful, organized and highly detail-oriented with accurate work output
  • Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams
  • Excellent Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
