The Department:

The UK Digital Department scopes, designs and delivers engaging and high-quality online experiences for global brands. We work in collaboration with their creative and strategic agency partners to create meaningful digital communications aimed at their UK and global customer bases. We work with our internal teams and partners to fulfil large scale global digital projects. As part of the team, you will be responsible for the creation of brand sites, mobile and tablet applications, and CRM integrations. You will find the department a friendly, vibrant and dedicated team – focused on delivering for our clients.

The Role:

The role of the Senior Project Manager is to plan, document, execute and complete large scale global digital web and app projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes inhouse and offshore briefing and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

In addition to this The Project Manager will need to be self-sufficient and must possess a solid understanding of both the Project Lifecycle and Project Management best practices.

The successful candidate will need to work closely with all digital departments within the practice. This means that they will need to be able to communicate intelligently and effectively with Creative, Technical, and Account Management. As such, must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well experience of large-scale digital project deliveries.

Emphasis on best practice project management techniques

Management of projects with at least £100K budget

Initiating projects including scope, budget and schedule

Project execution including scope change, briefing, burn rate and progress tracking

Project closure documentation

Attend internal meetings as a representative of the Digital production team as and when required

Requirements:

All Project Managers must have proven experience of the following competencies:

Scope Management: The ability to control the work included in a project, ensuring that all the work that has been scoped and budgeted can be delivered

Time Management: The ability to ensure timely completion of projects, including activity (task) definition and sequencing processes

Cost Management: The ability to plan, estimate and control costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. This includes resource planning, cost budgeting and project reconciliation

Quality Management: The ability to ensure that project delivery meets the quality needs for which the project as defined by both best practice and client expectations

Resource Management: The ability to task manage globally distributed project teams; this includes aligning on project objectives and goals, defining roles in the project and assigning project team members to those roles

Communications Management: The ability to link people (including team members and stakeholders), ideas, and information throughout a project life cycle

Risk Management: The ability to identify, analyse, and properly respond to project risks

Client Servicing: The ability to manage client needs through the entire project lifecycle

Organisation: The ability to juggle a varied workload and to prioritise time effectively

Passion for and understanding of internet technologies is as must
