Boutique agency is looking for a Senior SEO Manager who is excited about the prospect of delivering meaningful work for impactful organizations. As a Sr. SEO Manager, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day client relationships and ongoing SEO programs. In this position, you’re responsible for the agency’s strategy and execution of search engine optimization services. This requires close collaboration and interaction with the client, agency partners, and internal teams. 


Responsibilities:

Perform keyword research and develop on-page optimizations
Design, compile, and thoroughly analyze regular SEO metrics reports
Identify areas of risk and opportunity through ongoing data analysis, including ways to improve client’s organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions
Recommend topics, ideas and formats for content creation to clients based on research
Conduct technical audits and troubleshoot client websites
QA implemented optimizations to ensure accuracy
Communicate SEO strategy and development of projects timelines and progress to key internal stakeholders
Conduct onsite and offsite competitive analysis
Create and deliver reports on a monthly/quarterly basis
Research and analyze industry changes and developments in SEO techniques, tools, and methodologies, etc.
Ensure SEO best practices are applied across all agency teams
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure SEO integrity is upheld with site redesigns or refreshes
Attend regular meetings with the client and/or other agencies
Regularly work on new business pitches and RFPs
Use a variety of tools to track, extract, and analyze data generated by online user activity
Report analytics findings and communicate insights

Qualifications: Education/Experience & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree
4+ years direct work-related experience in search engine optimization role
Ability to plan, organize and manage tasks for multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to collaborate across all levels, both internal and client-facing
Experience participating as a team lead for site redesign projects
Understanding of the concepts around collaborating with paid search, conversion, and content marketing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong proficiency in SEO applications, tools, and web analytics packages, particularly Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Intermediate knowledge of website development and structure
Intermediate understanding of web design and UX best practices
Experience working with popular SEO tools: BrightEdge, SEM Rush, ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl preferred
Experience with WordPress
