Description

 

SMSis the most recent feature launched by our client company  to power its multi-channel marketing automation solution.  We are looking to add to our industry leading deliverability and compliance team to help our customers acquire, implement and obtain ROI from their use of SMS. In this role the SMS Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health and success of companies SMS offering. As an SMS Analyst you will assist the sales team in positioning and selling SMS and provide daily review and remediation of SMS-related issues as it pertains to industry best practices.

 

A successful candidate brings a broad understanding of best practice requirements to ensure ongoing good relationships with clients, SMS providers, and industry professionals.

 

Job Duties

  • Be a subject matter expert and stay up-to-date with SMS best practices and information.
  • Daily monitoring of all client campaigns deployed; proactively identify and develop plans to remediate deliverability issues.
  • Document SMS processes and educate internal teams on SMS best practices.
  • Join pre-sale, escalation, and remediation meetings to present monitoring insights, answer questions and provide proactive recommendations for customer use cases.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Customer Success, Technical Support, Marketing, Product and Sales to maintain visibility to customer needs, resolve challenges and contribute to a positive customer experience.
  • Provide expert consulting and guidance in regards to Compliance and Privacy standards for SMS such as CCPA, GDPR, and TCPA, and list hygiene.
  • Review SMS logs and partner with Product to improve SMS offerings.
  • Review SMS logs and partner with customers to resolve opt-in and formatting issues.
  • Review and mitigate abuse complaints.
  • Own the short code application and implementation processes for all SMS customers.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • 2+ years SMS Consulting or Analyst role, or related work.
  • Working understanding of SMS status codes (Vendor Codes).
  • B.S. in Statistics, Marketing, Business, C.S. or a related field.
  • Ability to discuss and explain highly technical or complicated subjects to non-technical contacts.
  • Good understanding of statistics and what makes a useful KPI.
  • Strategic mindset, with a proven ability to balance long and short-term goals.
  • Superior client service and demonstrated ability to grow internal and external client relationships.
  • Excellent self-starter with ability to operate in ambiguity and handle high and low volume work.
