What We are Looking For:
Our agency client is looking for a proactive and driven Social Media Analyst to join their team on a fulltime basis! You should be a social native, experienced at using listening tools find community insights which can inform standout and relevant creative ideas. You’ll also need to report on the performance of that creative in a way that tells the client what they need to know and gives our creative teams tips on how to optimize. You should be autonomous enough to take responsibility for listening and reporting across several brands, but collaborative when it comes to sharing your learning, best practice and ideas. This is a role for someone who likes to work closely with creative teams in a fast-moving environment. You should be comfortable presenting your work to the client and sharing your opinions with team members of all levels. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute strategically as well as creatively.
What you will be doing:
Setting up social listening across a number of brands Feeding your findings to the client and creative teams on a daily basis Create and provide monthly and quarterly reports for clients that use data to help guide our client teams through a narrative that includes what happened, why it happened, and the resulting data-driven recommendations Create and provide adhoc reports surrounding key initiatives Confidently present monthly and quarterly reports to clients, and be the point of contact for any data-related inquiries
What you need to be great:
in this role: 3-5 years of experience doing analytic- based reporting and research Experience with data visualization, social listening, and social analytic tools such as Brand Watch, Crimson Hexagon, UnMetric, and HootSuite Advanced experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint Agency experience is a must Ability to conduct high level analytics and strategy and wrap findings in a consumable presentation with an emphasis on narrative, insights, and recommendations Experience conducting consumer insights research Comfortable presenting interesting and high-energy reports both internally and externally Comfortable balancing multiple workstream, including multiple reporting deadlines Able to advocate for the role of analytics and research, trumpeting the importance of data-based proof and the power of data-based insights Self-driving with a track record of an entrepreneurial approach
