Social media content Creator (NYC)
Fulltime
Hybrid- 3 days in NYC office
Client: Luxury Jewelry company
About Role:
Seeking a Content Creator to become an integral part of the clients marketing team. As the Content Creator, you will work closely with the brand and marketing team to help bring our brand to life through short-and mid-form videos and creative across multiple channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of what drives content conversion across all social channels and ads, and build SOPs aligned with these best practices
- Ideate, create and edit visually captivating visual content for social platforms
- Responsible for shooting (and editing) high quality, visually compelling still imagery and video assets for the brand
- Utilizing channel-specific tactics, create, test and optimize engaging, performance-driven visual content to support social media goals across various all of our platforms (Display, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc)
- Collaborate with cross functional team members to clearly articulate storytelling objectives and key selling points through content
- Manage the end-to-end video production process including pre-production planning, storyboarding, filming, editing
- Ideate and test new content and formats to drive engagement across all social platforms
- Partner with our paid social team to support the deployment of social campaigns when needed
- Collaborate with our Social Media Strategist to analyze engagement data to spot trends, identify what resonates with our audience and propose new strategies based on our findings
- Organize and maintain our photography and video library, ensuring all assets are easily accessible
About You:
- You are a self-starter with a passion for creating converting, short-form social video
- You have a deep understanding of commercial, cross-platform digital content and are able to pivot your creative to align with different channels
- You know how to multitask, manage time, communicate with clarity and transparency, and organize projects to support a collaborative creative team
Requirements:
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience creating and managing the production of premium video and still content
- Comfortable working with project management tools like Airtable and Whimsical
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including both creating Essential Toolkits for Premiere and After Effects
