Social Media Manager Overview:

As the Social Media Manager, you will lead social media strategy and execution. You will be responsible for the creative planning and execution of content across all organic channels (including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, Snapchat and YouTube). The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, innovative thinker, and social media master. Based on the nature of the content, the ideal candidate will be comfortable being around/editing graphic material.

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead community management and focus on improving the social media experience, new user acquisition, and growth
  • Content calendar ownership with day-to-day management of the social media strategy, creating and publishing inspirational content that is on-brand and tailored to each channel
  • Develop and implement innovative ways to grow all social channels and drive engagement
  • Develop social media plans for specific campaigns and initiatives 
  • Be a brand champion, ensuring our brand voice and personality is reflected in all copy, content, and creative
  • Work with external creative agencies to produce social-optimized creative (photo and video)
  • Respond to customer inquiries, working with customer service and operational teams to develop responses
  • Develop weekly and monthly reports on social media data, performance, and learnings with a focus on analytics and insights to drive optimization including tracking and monitoring of KPIs
  • Monitor social sentiment and listening
  • Collaborate across functional areas - including Brand Marketing and Creative - to create best in class content strategies that deeply engage our followers and build brand advocacy
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments and stay up-to-speed on best practices, technologies, and analytical tools
  • Find and nurture relationships with content partners and social managers focused on increasing reach and growing brand awareness

Social Media Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing experience
  • Strong communication, editorial, and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding and experience implementing growth strategies across multiple platforms
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (Sprinklr, Google Analytics, CrowdTangle, Adobe Analytics etc.) 
  • Organized, detail oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess an aesthetic eye for on-brand imagery that will perform 
  • Tapped into social trends and culture
  • Flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with content that is graphic in nature
