Job description

I am working with a beauty brand who create award-winning skincare and luxury make-up, they are currently recruiting for a Global Social Media Manager. Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, you will be instrumental in increasing brand awareness, creating engagement with the community and implementing a social media roadmap that generates content, maximises audience reach and attention.


Key responsibilities…


  • Plan, develop and implement the social media strategy and content strategy for all channels globally ensuring best practices including content optimisation building and engaging communities, social listening and reporting, planning and execution of socially-led campaigns thanks to an excellent understanding of the key global platforms and by staying ahead on trends

  • Act as a brand guardian with a consistent tone of voice for our visual storytelling, conceptualising and executing content for our digital platforms including our website homepage and organic social (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Youtube, etc)

  • Grow our community by writing engaging blog posts and articles, facilitate social media communities and respond to posts and develop discussions

  • Set goals to increase brand awareness and generate compelling and engaging social media content and manage a real-time and reactive schedule of regular updates

  • Have a hands-on approach to deliver best in class assets including finding resources such as designers, photographers etc

  • Work with the Marketing and Regional team to plan and coordinate initiatives following the marketing calendar

  • Partner with the Paid partnerships team to grow and leverage relationships with social platforms, influencers and partners and optimise our social advertising campaigns

  • Share learnings, measure & evaluate post-campaigns success with our performance marketing team to monitor our social efforts and educate other teams on the use of social media




  • At least 3 years’ experience of hands-on agency or in-house experience managing socials for a Beauty, Wellness or Luxury brand

  • A self-starter who is passionate about Social Media and the Beauty industry -naturally curious, always seeking out customer focused best practice examples, with a clear understanding of all Western & Asian Social Media platforms

  • Excellent copywriting skills to create engaging content that educates and inspires along with an eye for aesthetics to develop visual assets to aid in your storytelling

  • A team player able to build strong working relationships and confident in presenting ideas and social thinking to different parts of the business

  • French fluency would be an advantage

  • Attention to detail will be second to none to ensure flawless execution of social activities

  • A good commercial acumen and analytical mind to interpret data into actionable insights

  • Brilliant organization skills who can multitask and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines with ability to work under pressure and who can be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
