Client Overview:
Our client is a media company and creative agency partnering with dynamic brands to establish their POV on TikTok and excite and engage their audience on the platform.
Position Overview:
They are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage the content strategy, content creation and day-to-day account management for 1-2 brand-owned TikTok channels.
The Social Manager will create and execute a content strategy that blends brand messaging with relatability, humor, and of-the-moment conversation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and content creation
- Collaborate with Strategy to develop and refine TikTok content strategie
- Identify creators and develop creator briefs, in collaboration with Strategy and Creative
- Incorporate client feedback and requests into the content plan and calendar
- Oversee social budget
- Moderate and manage TikTok channels, including record-keeping to note community management interactions
- Track and report on performance, in partnership with Data Strategy and Paid Social
- Facilitate product shipping and/or gifting for creators
- Keep up with TikTok platform changes and new social media video trends/formats to inform the content creation process
- Develop workflow to identify and execute trends.
About you:
- 4+ years of social media management experience, particularly on TikTok and Instagram
- Deep understanding of social media trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram
- High standards for execution of social video
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Relationships-first approach to working with creators and influencers
