Job description

Our client, a skincare brand, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team. This will full time/direct hire and fully remote until 2022 then will transition to a hybrid schedule at their Culver City office. 

This position will be responsible for driving the growth, development, execution, engagement, and measurement of multi-platform social strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty and has heavy experience creating on-brand social content to strategically drive consideration, engagement, sales, and loyalty. Additionally, this candidate will be highly analytical, results-driven, and able to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Growth & Engagement
• Engage, grow and convert social media followers and fans.
• Expand community with daily listening, maintenance, community engagement/conversation, and monitoring.
• Closely partner with Customer Service to respond and address customer concerns/feedback.
• Monitor trends in social media channels, tools, and metrics and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of the program.

Content Strategy & Development
• Develop and implement creative and highly measurable social media programs and campaigns, with user engagement and experience in mind that aligns with digital strategies.
• Understand social analytics and how that impacts visual direction for each channel.
• Plan, curate, manage, and execute all social photography and create on-going and seasonal shot lists.
• Manage the branded look, feel and messaging to ensure consistency across all social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
• Write copy and consistently deliver on-brand voice across all social platforms for each brand.
• Create build up around product/campaign launches & orchestrate engaging video content (i.e. How-To, Product Demos, Tutorials, etc.).
• Monitor and analyze performance of each campaign to measure impact.
• Staying up to date with social platform trends (i.e. Tik Tok) and constantly experimenting, evaluating, and pivoting to increase brand awareness and drive user engagement.


Influencer Partnerships
• Partner with internal team – working hand-in-hand with Associate Marketing Manager to develop and maintain relationships with media influencers, platform partners and key bloggers.
• Partner with internal team – working hand-in-hand with Associate Marketing Manager on influencer and ambassador seeding, outreach, management and collaboration negotiations.
• Partner with internal team – working hand-in-hand with Associate Marketing Manager to connect influencers with brand launches and promotions.
• Partner with internal team – working hand-in-hand with Associate Marketing Manager to expand and strengthen network of influencers.

Skills & Experience:
• BS/BA required
• 6+ digital marketing experience; Minimum of 3-5 years focused on social media.
• Mastery in and passion for all social media channels.
• Experience acting as a social media thought leader influencing senior executives and gaining buy-in.
• Proven experience leading the creation and implementing digital/social media campaigns.
• Proven experience managing paid social budgets in an efficient manner on major platforms.
• Able to demonstrate how social campaigns deliver impact to broader business and marketing objectives.
• Keen eye for aesthetics, branding and photography.
• Strong emphasis on Photoshop and retouching.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong writing skills.
• Ability to interpret data using established analytic/reporting tools to create actionable social marketing programs.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
