Job Summary:
In the Social Media Associate position, you will play a critical role in the day to day planning and execution of content and brand management, from production to posting. As part of the Marketing team, you will work closely with the Creative, Merchandising and E-commerce departments.
Responsibilities:

Understand all social media channels including Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

Create/execute the social media calendar

Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) across various social channels

General understanding of SEO in relation to Blog content development
-
Build community through audience engagement and interaction on social media channels
-
Copywriting skills and familiarity with blog posting

Effective communication, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
-
Attend weekly marketing meetings and select events where content capture is required

Maintain social media content calendar

Day to day administrative duties

Help moderate UGC content for digital advertising usage

Organize content created by various departments
Qualifications and Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant professional experience in editorial, native and/or content development

Very strong online copywriting and editing skills
-
Exceptional social media skills and strategic ability to build a following.

Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Youtube.

Experience developing and managing a budget and reporting on results to senior leadership

Understanding of different content analytics tools and social analytics tools

Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills
