Length of Contract: 8 months
Location or Remote: Bellevue, WA
Client Overview: Our client is a leading software company headquartered in Bellevue, WA.
Position Overview: As the Sr. Accountant you will be responsible for accounting activities of the company's UK operations. A successful candidate will have several years of accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting activities of company UK operations
- Responsibility for balance sheet accounts and reconciliations including but not limited to:
- Fixed assets / Accruals / Prepayments / Intercompany
- VAT reconciliations and returns
- Payroll review and reconciliations
- Corporate credit card review and analysis
- Employee expense claim management
- Ad hoc tasks as required to support the finance function
Key Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 4-6 years in a corporate accounting or finance function
- Solid grasp of accounting and finance concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of financial systems
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Skilled in managing multiple processes, priorities and projects. Excellent organization skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
