Role Overview:

The Brand Digital Director is responsible for defining the strategy and overseeing the development of digital marketing, social media, consumer engagement, media production, content strategy and community management for North American Brands. This role will report into the SVP of US Designer Brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Define & Lead the global digital strategy and local market deployment guidelines for all US based designer brands
  • Partner with Global Marketing, Influencer & Media teams to define & deploy disruptive digital strategies that are consistent with each launch and brand
  • Partner with Local Marketing teams to identify need-gaps for localized/local digital plans for launches and annual evergreen content
  • Manage the relationship with digital expert teams at licenses to ensure that fragrance brand’s digital communication needs and creatives are met
  • Coordinate brand expansion across each brand’s social eco-system along with the media & influencer marketing teams
  • Oversee the Social Media strategy and implementation, defining guidelines and editorial calendar, for global and local social media campaigns
  • Spearhead digital innovation and partner with external agencies, internal expert teams & licenses
  • Oversee creative agency & partners in the conception & deployment of all digital initiatives
  • Manage the overall digital budget for best ROI and in partnership with global marketing teams
  • Lead the project management of all digital initiatives from brief through to production and market delivery
  • Partner with E-commerce teams at corporate & in key markets to ensure delivery of best-in-class e-commerce content
  • Define, track & achieve KPIs for all digital initiatives to enable a ‘test & learn’ approach
  • Explore & propose new opportunities to reach new consumers in line with each brand’s strategy
  • Be the digital expert to educate & influence global & local teams as well as licensors
  • Lead, coach, drive and develop team of three to foster a culture of innovation and partnership while ensuring best in class digital plans & execution

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in brand digital management in a luxury environment
  • Expertise in online marketing, especially in building social media communities at international levels
  • Strong project management and soft relationship skills
  • Agile mindset with social media expertise & e-commerce knowledge
  • Business acumen with an ability to influence and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
  • Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding international environment, strong collaborative mindset
