Job description

Our client, a busy entertainment ad agency, is looking for a Sr Key Art Designer to start as soon as today or tomorrow for a two week assignment. The ideal candidate must have strong Key Art experience and be able to work offsite.

As Key Art Designer, you will create key art designs that are memorable and leave an emotional impact with the audiences by conveying the marketing message surrounding the project.

The ideal candidate for Key Art Designer will be a senior designer who understands the more challenging aspects of graphic design as they relate to key art while exhibiting a passion for the creative aspects of the job. You will have excellent comprehension of composition, color, typography, and other aspects of design that come into play when creating striking key art.



  • Create and execute concept for high-quality digital artwork for key art design that scales for movie posters, pop-ups, billboards, and more.
  • Use innovative thinking and approach to champion designs that test out new design practices and provide a fresh perspective.
  • Research ideas around film and video projects to create design sketches.
  • Work with creative team to brainstorm design ideas and mood boards, and review design sketches.
  • Develop processes to streamline workflows for creating high-quality designs with quicker turnaround time.
  • Design concept pieces and style frames around key art for various projects and campaigns.



  • 7+ years of experience of digital and creative art design in entertainment/ consumer brand specifically with an agency or in-house.
  • Excellent understanding of composition, color, typography as they come into play in key art design.
  • Demonstrable expertise in developing highly creative designs for digital and product use as well as consumer focused interaction.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate both creatively and technically.
  • Build strong relationships within internal teams and with external agency partners.
  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Portfolio showcasing high-quality creative designs and artwork.
