Our agency client is growing and looking to hire a Sr. Media Buyer/Planner to their team full time with great benefits! They're looking for a creative, strategic, and ambitious media professional that brings innovative and unconventional thinking to our clients and their brands. Candidates need to have a solid track record for developing successful digital and traditional advertising strategies to meet brand and business objectives. Strong communication skills will be key as this position works closely with agency teams as well as directly with clients.
The Media Planner/Buyer’s role is to ensure the delivery of media plans that have strategic impact while establishing the agency as a trusted advisor. You must be able to plan and buy a strategic mix of paid media channels, delivering plans that are accountable to delivering results for our clients.
Planning & Buying:
- Researches, develops, negotiates, and executes media plans and buys from top to bottom.
You must be experienced and enthusiastic about digital marketing technologies with strong digital media skills. Continuing to bring forward new media solutions in order to educate clients and agency teams.
Experience with digital campaign strategy, campaign management, insightful reporting, including executive summaries and a storytelling approach that delivers insight beyond the standard reporting.
Prepare KPI analysis and monitoring of results of all media campaigns and schedules, prepare follow-up presentations, optimization strategies, and campaign summaries.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as a leader, and independently as required. Partner with the agency teams to strengthen existing client relationships, to overcome their marketing challenges and to ensure client satisfaction.
Ability to work on multiple projects independently and with agency teams in order to stay within tight deadlines. Attention to detail.
Must have excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills.
You will be encouraged to establish yourself as a thought leader within the industry by attending key industry events, as well as, writing articles for industry publications to raise the agency’s profile.
Participate and contribute to new business efforts on behalf of the media department through media plans and pitch participation.
Thorough understanding of all digital acquisition models: CPA, CPC, CPM, etc. Proficient in measurement of digital and traditional media measurements for integrated campaigns. Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with online/offline research tools and Media Buying software and tools.
- 5+ years media planning and buying experience, including traditional and digital media
- BA Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- Pass a standard background check and sign NDA documents as required.
- Agency experience where you worked directly with agency teams and clients.
