The Platform Product Marketing team is responsible for developing messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, and events that elevate the Platform brand. As the Senior Product Marketing Representative for Platform Events, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of events including third-party conferences, CXO events, and other experiential marketing initiatives. Working with various stakeholders, you’ll deliver on a hybrid (in-person and virtual) portfolio of events that drive brand awareness, pipeline growth, and ACV for the Platform business.

We’re looking for an events professional who is creative, agile, organized, collaborative, fun, and a top-notch communicator. The position requires a blend of strategy and “in the weeds” events execution. The role also requires up to 30% travel.
 

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design & development of events strategy at Dreamforce and beyond
- Organize logistics, from ideation to measurement, for customer-facing events
- Create event assets and collateral (invites, registration pages, social media copy, etc)
- Drive registration for online and in-person events and activations
- Manage event campaigns and maintain operational excellence
- Provide clear communication of events program to internal stakeholders and executives; create briefing materials, define roles, timelines, and resources
- Conduct post-event reporting and ROI analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies including vendors, event agencies, sales leaders, and cross-team members in Creative, Campaigns, Events, Product Marketing, Trailblazer Marketing, and more
- Scope and recommend innovative and creative event options, including new immersive technologies and entertainment based on program format and budget

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 2+ years experience in events
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and driving complex event programs to success
- Strong communication and presentation skills - oral and written
- Self-starter mindset with high attention to detail, organization, and process
- Confident team player with a Ship, Shipmate, Self mentality
- Experience leading third-party conferences (e.j. Gartner Symposium, IDG, AWS) and hosting virtual events through Splashthat, Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Cisco Webex
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Slides, and Spreadsheets)
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is a big plus!
