Staff Product Designer Overview:

We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape our Service Partner Program and App Marketplace experiences. You will be responsible for guiding roadmap decisions that impact partner experience and partner-customer relationships, integrating partners into cross-domain initiatives and driving awareness of partner opportunities across other product areas.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience executing designs that deliver simple, straightforward experiences by leveraging expertise in user experience design, research and product strategy. You will collaborate closely with content strategy, product management, and engineering to create compelling experiences for our partner community helping small businesses succeed.

 

Staff Product Designer Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Product Management & Design Management to influence design approach and deliverables
  • Bring a UX lens to product roadmap decisions impacting partners.
  • Contribute to future facing initiatives as they map to business strategy and help guide product designers in their cross functional environments with an eye on quality execution
  • Thinks holistically about the entire customer journey to help inform product messaging & deliverables to market 
  • Make customer experience and satisfaction more measurable across the Partnerships domains
  • Helps designers evaluate design approaches against business goals, technical requirements, and customer contexts
  • Thinks strategically about how to develop product features in incremental steps as part of a long-range development timeline and help guide other designers appropriately
  • Aligns teams around established patterns and mental models across all platforms
  • Contributes to design systems, by helping establish new patterns, visual language
  • Identifies opportunities to scale production and guide internal tooling projects
  • Clearly articulates and presents concepts to senior design leadership
  • Mentors, inspires and guides mid-tier and junior designers 
  • Supports recruiting and hiring practices
