Our client, a popular home decor brand, is seeking a Textile Designer to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Create textile designs that are relevant and trendsetting while staying consistent with brand aesthetics
- Develop new designs following from concept to production based on the guided direction
- Work with design to further refine and develop existing styles
- Brainstorm and contribute to discussions on design iterations
- Create cohesive and clean files that work cross-departmental for an omnichannel approach to brand engagement
- Remain current of emerging art, color, and textile techniques and trends for art development and strategy
Requirements:
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop - Illustrator is a plus
- Skilled in CAD tools
- Understand color theory and be able to color match effectively
- Strong knowledge and understanding of composition
- Strong technical and organizational skills
- Ability to use a drawing tablet
- AA in graphic design or textile design required (unless portfolio reviewed is of equal talent and skill)
- Interest in home and interior design
