Role: Both mens and womenswear textile designer for major Bay Area retailer!
Overview:
-Mostly support role, changing colorways, repeats, color indexing, reducing files for factory
-Much of work with be to digitize a purchased print or artwork, recolor, etc.
-Will support both mens and womens textiles
-Must have commercial brand experience
Responsibilities/Skills:
-Knowledge of print repeats
-Ability to clean up vintage patterns
-Color indexing
-Some creative such as painting and drawing
-Need to be responsive and able to manage priorities; communicate well
