Job description

A top beauty brand is seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Content + Community Manager to own TikTok and assist in content strategies across social and PR as needed.

The person will be responsible for the overall workflow of TikTok including development and execution of campaigns, daily management, and community building in an effort to drive consumer engagement and deliver against business goals.

This role requires an ability to interact across different levels of technical, analytical, creative and business aspects bringing brand building know-how, strategic thinking, creative content capability, strong communication and writing skills, a deep understanding of how to generate insights through data, and measurement strategies.

Responsibilities & Duties: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Develop TikTok strategy to boost brand awareness, support core products, new product launches, global markets, and retail partner needs.
-Foster relationships with audience, creators, and consumers on TikTok
-Showcase brand philosophy and values through unique, engaging, and on-trend content
-Collaborate within Social team to build content strategy and library of consistent franchises and new categories
-Extensive experience with content production and creation. This role will own TikTok from start to finish including concepting, producing, shooting, and working closely with Creative Ops and additional partners as needed.
-Ability to identify and create engaging video content, produce sounds and trends on TikTok
-Publish and maintain regular posting cadence and daily community management
-Work with all departments to establish workflows (influencer, copy, digital, creative, retail, customer service, etc.)
-Research platform best practices, creator communities, and emerging trends
-Analyze content and campaign performance including testing, posting frequency, content types, etc. to inform ongoing strategy
-Must be organized, forward-thinking with the ability to simultaneously plan ahead and remain nimble
-Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting
-Actively use social platform daily and observe platform trends and happenings

Qualifications & Competencies:
-BS/BA required
-1-2 years’ experience managing social media for major brand(s) on either client or agency side
-An early adopter who can pick up new tools and concepts quickly
-Analytical eye for connecting social media community metrics to business objectives
-Ability to work across departments and agencies and collaborate with all stakeholders to deliver a unified brand voice
-Strong analytical capabilities including use of applications to mine the data and make sound recommendations
-Creative problem solver
-Ability to change direction quickly, prioritize, and oversee multiple projects at once
-Strong attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams
-Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner
-Positive attitude and demonstrates a high level of maturity and presence
