One of our home furnishings and interior design manufacturing clients is looking for a Digital Designer with strong web design and UI/UX skills to join their in-house creative team for an exciting full time role.
This Digital Designer will be the primary designer and owner of the company's US website, responsible for continuous updates and user interface design improvements.
The Digital Designer should be a passionate creative with a strong online portfolio showcasing specific web design samples, email design, basic UI/UX wireframes and prototypes.
Ideal Digital Designer candidates will have:
- BA degree related to conceptual, visual, and experience/UX design
- 4+ years of professional experience in implementing visual strategies and designing responsive and mobile-first user interfaces in an agency or in-house creative team
- Strong online portfolio showcasing experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Excellent visual design skills rooted in strong UX fundamentals and best practices
- Fully proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools (Figma or Adobe XD preferred)
- Familiar with basic front-end development, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
- Strong understanding of content management systems, SEO principles, and experience working in an agile environment
- Up-to-date with the latest digital design trends, techniques and technologies
Nice to have:
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
- Knowledge of content marketing
- Experience with agile design sprints, A/B and user testing, and how to leverage analytics and digital insights
*Offsite flexible, but local to NY preferred
