Our client who is a Global Investing Firm is looking for a UX Designer to join their team.
Job Description:
Participate in and support all facets of the life-cycle of user experience (UX) and digital design, including:
Understanding business needs
Information gathering and clarification
Research and testing
Information architecture
Providing consultation or professional advice to management and partners
Planning long- or short-term UX and web design objectives
Crafting prototypes for user acceptance testing prior to digital development
Design campaign pages, blog posts, call to action sections, emails, etc.
Support content managers by building and providing visual content
Provides ongoing user experience analysis of existing content for partners
Proactively evaluates current websites and rebrand digital properties in accordance with brand direction and style guide
Updates and maintains the digital style guide and provides appropriate Cascading Style Script (CSS) direction for digital content managers
Assists in the design of user interface and appearance of new social media technologies such as blogging platforms
Assists digital content team, as necessary, with required design updates
Carries out additional duties as assigned
Technical skills and qualifications:
5+ years of experience in UX and/or digital design
Superior knowledge of Sketch and Invision
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related discipline: Human Factors, Computer Science with specialty in User Interface Design, Graphical Design or equivalent

Demonstrated knowledge of the following skills:
Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design tools
Invision or other web prototyping tools
Ability to design for desktop, mobile, and tablet (responsive) as well as browser and cross-platform environments
CMS platform knowledge is a plus
WordPress or other blogging platforms
Professional skills required:
Experience partnering with digital development teams
Ability to take ideas from concept to execution
Proven understanding of user interface design processes and methodology
Knowledge of current and evolving internet technologies
Comfortable in a fast-pace environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to see patterns in repetitive tasks and identify improvements to simplify and streamline
Strong sense of accountability and urgency in meeting tasks
