UI/UX Designer
Client Overview:
- Our client is an American multinational chain of coffeehouses and roastery reserves headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
UI/UX Designer Overview:
- The scope of the UX/UI Designer is on creating the user interface based on user research insights. To achieve this, designers will use processes such as wireframing and prototyping, followed by usability testing.
UI/UX Designer Responsibilities:
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
- Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low and high fidelity mockups
- Communicate with product and engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership
- Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design
- Performing metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts
- Know how to use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, or equivalent
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
UI/UX Designer Requirements:
- Five or more years of UX/UI experience
- Bachelor’s or MS in a human behavior related field (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)
- Ability to quickly and effectively share research results
- Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
- Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
- Experience with remote testing tools
- A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
