THE ROLE

As their client moves towards a new way of doing business that incorporates online sales, there is a need to simplify the overall site offering. This will involve creating personalised and intuitive customer journeys for visitors based on their mindset and lifecycle stage. We’re looking for a UX writer to join our Transformation Tribe to support with UX designs, and ensure brand and tone of voice consistency throughout the experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with product, content and design teams to develop and support new product development ideas from conception to production

Create clear, concise copy in alignment with messaging around the automotive client's multiple product offerings

Introduce a consistent approach to all functional copy, in agreement with the design system, so that customers can familiarise themselves with key actions

Contribute towards our new brand and tone of voice guidelines, so that copy is aligned across the whole website experience

Create multiple copy options for A/B testing to improve engagement with our users and impact on the measured results

Create copy for different audiences, personas or user types so that content is relevant and timely in individual journeys

Work with our product owners to ensure consistency and approval of copy and tone across multiple product offerings

Ensure legal feedback has been incorporated and conduct regular audits of your work to ensure it is compliant

Manage your own workload across multiple projects while ensuring on-time delivery

Proofread and edit copy when necessary

Prepare documentation for translation and authoring, in alignment with requirements for those teams

Manage the end-to-end copy process in the transformation tribe, from creation to delivery and improvement

Share your own, and peer-review other UX writing within the content team

Essential Experience Required

Significant experience as a product copywriter or UX writer, preferably in an automotive, or marketplace environment

Proven experience of successfully improving business metrics through copy

Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing, especially in short copy

Outstanding communication and proficiency in English

Attention to detail

Experience working across multiple communications channels and how to adapt copy to them

Conceptual thinking

Self-managing, with the ability to cope with balancing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
