Our Client, a active lifestyle brand, is looking for a Fulltime Video Producer to join their team in LA.

Position Summary:

The Video Producer is responsible for organizing and overseeing all aspects of the live stream content and on-demand videos executed at our studios. This role will work closely with the on-site Technical Director to ensure that video production is up to standard and completed on time and within the budget. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooperates with the Senior Manager Content Development in creation and refinement of scripts, project concepts, and other materials
  • Support Creative Department with production and organization, scheduling all task within the video production process; creating and managing a budget for all production costs and expenses; sourcing staff, negotiating fees, and hiring equipment, ensuring fitness trainers have the necessary items needed on set, and meeting with relevant stakeholders to discuss proper execution of the project
  • Responsible for ROS on production day, from writing call sheets to sending out contracts, and communicating with all involved parties before production and day of. Support tech crews in any needed items, and brief camera operators
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and Fitness Director review and select appropriate camera, audio and lighting equipment, tech rentals, and maintaining proper budgets
  • Supports the Technical Director in upload of the digital platform. Manage and monitor the post-production process
  • Participate in weekly meetings
  • Participate in Quality Management, ensuring the outcome meets the company’s expectations. Final overview of video and editing as per needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned and/or needed

 

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working on film sets or as part of a production team.
  • In-depth knowledge of video production processes and activities. Video editing is a great asset.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, planning and budgeting; strong problem-solving skills, deadline-focused, and goal-driven; and strong time and project management skills
  • Must have exceptional time-management skills and be able to execute tasks and responsibilities in an ever-changing environment. Must be flexible and be able to deal with a bit uncertainty and manage problems as they arise.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly in all various modes (verbal, written, text, etc.). Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Able to lead a production team and manage several tasks at once.
