Our client, an in house agency/studio, is looking for a Video Production Manager to join their team. This will be full time/direct hire and they prefer candidates to be on a hybrid schedule and their office is in Beverly Hills.Their Production Manager serves in multiple utility capacities across all facets of their flexible Video/Broadcast Production model and team from beginning to end. This person is also versed in video production as it relates to integrating it within Experiential and Digital productions. As a focus, person must have knowledge and skills in video production from pre-production all the way to post and delivery.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Support Senior Producer /EP in creating budgets and schedules, pre-production books, coordinating casting and tech scouts, and researching locations
- Support Producers with Vendor estimates and bids Produce/shoot/edit BTS micro-budget projects Generate and disseminate
- Call-sheets, Production Reports, and Maintain shoot schedules
- Distribute, manage and archived talent/appearance releases
- Manage all post production activities, projects, partners and third party vendors.
- Point person for any outsourced, insourced and in-house post production personnel
- Responsible for finished wrap books on every video and/or project
- Take notes for production meetings and provide summaries
- Source Production and Post Production Vendors
- Coordinate with Post Production Vendors to ensure that projects deliver on time and on budget
- Edit and create versions / exports of video projects, and QC them for final delivery
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- 3-6 years of experience at Post house or in post-production, in coordinator or similar position
- Relationships / Rolodex of editors and animators
- Editing experience Knowledge of all types of VIDEO production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and strong technical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Docs for Business Proficient with scheduling through I-cal, Google Cal or any calendar programs for creating project calendars
- Ability to create Pre-Production books, call sheets, and wrap reports as needed
- Ability to start and maintain Production Books for each and every project.
- The ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is a must
- Hard-working, willing to work extra hours as necessary, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
