VP of Finance
VP of Finance Overview:
As the VP of Finance, you would be responsible for ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.
VP of Finance Responsibilities:
• Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives
• Consult with key stakeholders by soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Develop key business metrics and analytics that will allow the leadership team to clearly understand outcomes achieved and provide insightful recommendations to optimize resource allocation
• Develop financial models in support of the company's operations and strategic initiatives, including earnings and cash flow forecasts
• Assist in analyzing monthly and quarterly results, including progressive refinement of reporting and analysis • Assume responsibility for producing monthly executive summaries and reporting packs and quarterly Board presentations
• Lead the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes to deliver accurate and timely projections for executive leadership team
• Develop long-range objectives and strategies for the fulfillment center and transportation team and monitor performance against these objectives and provide feedback to direct reports
VP of Finance Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or mathematics preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance work experience
• Advanced managerial skills; and strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Experience creating presentations for executive management
• Ability to inspire and coach team members for career development
