Our client, a leader in kitchen appliances, is looking for a VP of Product & Experiences to join the team.
VP of Product & Experiences Responsibilities:
- Lead the ideation, technical development and launch of new features to improve experiences across user interfaces
- Prioritize and build a roadmap to align all teams
- Partner with engineering leads to ensure product managers, designers and engineers are operating efficiently at all levels
- Manage teams of product managers, user experience designers and industrial designers
- Own the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) setting process for your teams, working closely with business partners to ensure all teams are working towards the same goals
- Define and analyze metrics that inform how we measure the overall experience (usability, engagement, functionality, improvements, etc.) we're delivering
- Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
- Understand markets, competition and customer/user requirements in depth.
VP of Product & Experiences Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master's degree is a plus
- 7+ years product management experience leading digital experience at consumer-focused technology company is a must
- 4+ years managing a team of 3+ product managers
- Passionate about creating intuitive, simple user experiences and have a strong eye for usability and quality design.
- Strong understanding of frontend, backend, and cloud architecture
- Familiarity with an Agile development process
- Experience with Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures
- Good understanding of cloud service models, such as Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) Communicate effectively – written and verbally – across a diverse set of audiences
