We are looking for a solid sales assistant to join our team and focus on supporting the sales team and daily administrative tasks. You must have experience in the women's wholesale apparel business.

JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the sales of a high profit portfolio of accounts
• Sales support including meeting preparation, recap, daily communication,
order processing and flow to production

JOB FUNCTIONS
• Appointment preparation: Prepare the showroom/samples for the appointment following the strategy discussed with the Executive Vice- President
• During the meeting: Help show the collection
• Capture all the notes during the appointment
• Showroom on web: Make a “showroom” for the selection during the
appointment
• Customer recap: Prepare the recap/PDF for the customers
• Developments: Put the developments in with the design team and ensure close follow-up
• Samples: Follow-up on all customer development samples (SPO + Photo sample, etc.)
• PDFs and customer presentations: Prepare new development PDFs to boost sales
• Daily Communications with customers
• Bring the costing coordinator in the loop for all price inquiries
• Production: Once customer PO is received, prepare the info to pass on to the
costing Coordinator and the order entry team. The account manager needs to
understand the order better than anybody else
• Checking of the orders: Make sure the quantity, price, size break, color,
delivery, etc. match what was quoted
• Participate in the handoff meetings with production and design
• Coordinate with the logistic department for missing orders and EDI
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Experience in wholesale

• Must be able to maintain a schedule and meet deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:
Level of education: Bachelor's degree in fashion marketing or related field required
Work experience: 1-3 years sales experience in contemporary and missy women’s apparel
Microsoft Office: Advanced (Especially in Excel) Adobe Suite: Photoshop and InDesign
