Job description

SALES MANAGER(FINE JEWELRY) POSITION OPEN IN LA!  This is not Retail! This is Wholesale only!! Must have current wholesale experience in fine jewelry and live in LA

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Responsible for driving sales and nurturing a mutually profitable business relationship within an assigned account base by setting and implementing strategies that support the brands
  • Oversee account management from writing initial market orders, in-season account maintenance, to end-of-season profit reconciliation

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Sales and Account Management

  • Manage sales of individual accounts including analyzing sales/stock performance on a weekly basis, suggest re-orders and margin building opportunities
  • Write retailer buys based on merchandising direction and account needs to maximize in store presentation
  • Receive and confirm all orders, enter onto booking sheets and into Inventory system. Manage EDI orders as they come in and correct all errors as needed
  • Work with each account to communicate any delivery delays and PO extensions that may be required
  • Ensure timely shipping of all PO’s and effectively communicate updates to buying office
  • Partner with logistics to make sure open orders are being shipped complete and on time
  • Update sales analysis and analyze top and bottom sellers on bi-weekly basis
  • Facilitate special order requests, transfer of merchandise as well as RTV’s

Business Development

  • Execute and drive sales strategy; work closely with VP to ensure account needs are being met; Assist with and also present seasonal collections to a range of current and potential accounts; communicate the brands' strength and position in the market on a consistent basis
  • Identify account opportunities to improve product assortment and clearly communicate competitive trends

REQUIREMENTS

  • Min of 3+ years of Wholesale jewelry experience 
  • Working experience within the luxury market 
  • Will have current business relationships with Neiman's, Bergdorf's, Saks.
