Wholesale Sales Manager/Director position open for Girls Apparel in LA!

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for account partnerships
  • Manage and elevate current account partnerships
  • Identify and create new partnership opportunities that align with brand expectations
  • Strategically and creatively source new partnership opportunities through cold calling, emailing, etc.
  • Leverage existing relationships and contacts with buyers in the kids/girls fashion retailers(Kohl's, Walmart, Dillard's, JCP and Target), online retailer businesses to drive business
  • Create specific quarterly and annual sales plans and goals
  • Ensure sales and productivity goals are met YOY
  • Identify revenue opportunities to maximize YOY growth in each account
  • Monitor sales performance for each account; dollars purchased, account sell through, etc.
  • Devise new and innovative ways to market products and drive growth
  • Analyze monthly selling goals and reports to understand and drive business
  • Attend Trade Shows and Showroom appointments

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience within GIRLS apparel
  • Must have relevant wholesale experience
  • Detailed knowledge of kids/girls fashion space
  • Knowledge of competitive products and markets
  • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Possesses strong persuasive abilities
  • Possesses clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional but confident and outgoing demeanor
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Ability to multitask, and execute and accomplish goals
