Assistant Manager for Men's Contemporary Retail

We are looking for a great Assistant Manager that is fashionable, experienced, professional and a motivator for a Men's fashion brand opening a new store soon in Los Angeles.

The Assistant Shop Manager will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in driving profitable business results and operational excellence through the training of Sales Team, Clienteling, management of stock and scheduling, and maintaining corporate standards of shop image and customer service.

  • Assist the Store Manager with leading the store team and serve as the expert on brand culture, store operations, policies & procedures, management and exceptional sales and service skills
  • Assist with training and motivating associates to achieve maximum sales productivity and ensures that sales plans are achieved
  • Assists Store Manager in recruiting and hiring, and effectively managing store operations to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Opening/closing procedures of the store, completion of returns and exchanges and compliance with cash handling policy
  • Ensure the store is compliant with all environment, safety, and maintenance requirements/documents per company standards
  • Assembly and coordination of the product in accordance with the brand guidelines
  • Maintenance of standards and aesthetic of the store interior
  • Assembly of window displays
  • Training and supervision of the staff in regard to replenishing the floor fixtures and maintaining visual standards
  • Maximize sales potential by continually training the sales team on the brand’s selling experience
  • Aids in product orders by analyzing store trends and anticipating customer demands
  • Prepare and track outbound and inbound shipping
  • Monitor stock room cleanliness, supply levels/budget, and general organization
  • Supervise all stock associates

  • Prior high-end retail management experience between 1 to 3 years
