Assistant Marketing Manager (K-Beauty)

Client Overview: 

Our client is a well-established K-Beauty brand known for their skincare and color cosmetics.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be a key contributor for driving sales and market share growth via e-commerce channels and retail partnerships through strategic planning, tailoring of national programs, creation of retailer specific programs, and successful execution in-store and online.


  • Support 360º marketing programs to ensure timely production and successful launch, both in-store & online

  • Write copy for new product packaging, collateral and descriptions on website

  • Provide marketing recommendations based on potential retailer environments and promotional calendars

  • Develop and execute in-store merchandising proposals that meet brand and account objectives

  • Manage and optimize .com content and strategic omnichannel growth

  • Responsible for managing all channel-specific logistics (i.e. vendor purchase orders and management, product orders for retail events etc.)

  • Communicate with social media agency on a daily basis to review/approve ongoing social posts, ad plans and influencer lists/content

  • Coordinate with PR agency for press event planning & logistics, sample sendouts/tracking of shipments and review/update press release documents

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field 

  • 2-3 years' relevant marketing experience in Skincare or Color Cosmetics (beauty required)

  • Bi-lingual in Korean and English (nice to have but not required)

  • Obsession with creating impactful, consumer-centric experiences and products 

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel + basic Marketing Analytics skills (required)

  • Flexible to travel to retail HQ's and industry events (10-20%)
