Assistant Project Manager- Communications

 The Assistant Project Manager Communications supports the development of integrated, through-the-line, marketing communications toolkits to support global and specific BU marketing and business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the global Brand Communications team to create the global brand marketing plan for upcoming seasons and campaigns

• Collaborate with the Omni-Channel Marketing Team and the Digital Activation Team on Channel activation

• Support the Brand Comms team in the creation of toolkits and materials

• Coordinate the distribution of creative tools to markets using available distribution platforms accordingly

• Align with Production and the Media Activation team on the media strategy for campaign executions

-Coordinate all aspects of shoot preparation including, but not limited to:

? Wardrobe organization and shipment for shoots and events

? Sample order and inventory

• Support Brand Comms lead for miscellaneous tasks, i.e. sell in tools for future concepts or administrative tasks as needed

Key Relationships:

• Global Brand Communications Team located in Portland

• Global Omnichannel Counterparts (Retail, Digital, Social, Media) located in Europe / Germany

• X-functional team (CTC, Product, Design, Merchandising,..)

• External Agency partners

• Global supporting functions like Sports Marketing, EIM, Newsroom,

• Local Brand Activation teams (Comms, Retail, Digital Activation, Media Activation, Omni- Channel Marketing, Omni-Channel VM/ISC, Newsroom/PR and EIM)

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

• High level project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time

• Knowledge of the full marketing mix (advertising, events, sponsorship, retail, PR, digital) with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred)

• Understanding of an ever-changing marketing landscape and exposure to project management

• Ability to collaborate and use platforms and tools utilized by multiple functions as well as ability to support internal and external cross- functional groups: product marketing, communications, social, digital

• Understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry

• Presentation and organizational skills

• Advanced user of MS Office suite of products

• Ability to function as a good team player for both internal / external (agency) through demonstration of 3C behavior.

Qualifications 1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master’s Degree / MBA a plus. 2. 1+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience. 3. Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
