Assistant Store Manager

Our client is an innovative maternity brand centered on creating a chic, timeless and approachable aesthetic for women before, during and after pregnancy.  They are seeking an Assistant Manager who will be responsible for representing the  brand, growing and maintaining top client relationships, hosting Store events, expanding the customer base and driving sales and clientele within the retail business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personal client / relationship expectations
  • Contribute 40% of overall home store monthly volume, through client business, developing new individual and corporate relationships and events
  • Host at least 1 monthly shopping party (not limited to an in-store party)
  • Client business should represent at least 30% of overall individual monthly sales volume
  • Partner with the Store manager and Director of Community and events to execute educational and networking events in store on a monthly basis

Team contribution

  • Develop, train, and coach the store team to manage a highly productive selling environment
  • Create the customer journey in the store - being mindful of company demographic - enable the team to develop and maintain productive customer relationships and provide an inspiring, personalized shopping experience
  • Oversee the development of building the staff clientele and ensure client expectations are being met through client appointments and home packages
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise and train staff on Fit/Styles and building outfits

Represent the Brand

  • Emulate the company aesthetic and embody a strong sense of fashion sensibility and an enthusiastic attitude
  • Take ownership for maintaining the company aesthetic across all touch points including sales personnel presentation, dress code, Community, visual standards, maintenance and merchandising to create a fully branded environment
  • Contribute to the community to help us reach new customers and build brand awareness

Operational Excellence

  • Manage operations in store and ensure policies and procedures are being met
  • Ensure maintenance of stores physical appearance and cleanliness
  • Contribute to successful company growth and securing of our assets through implementation of effective Loss Prevention methods and policy and procedure
