Assistant Studio Manager/Beauty-Venice, CA

 

OUR CLIENT IS A LEADER IN THE PRESTIGE BEAUTY COLOR COSMETICS INDUSTRY AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A COOL,  HIP,  EXPERIENCED ASSISTANT STUDIO MANAGER WITH A CURRENT MAKE UP ARTIST BACKGROUND FOR THEIR NEW BOUTIQUE IN WEST LA.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for flawless execution of the event schedule and driving social engagement.  This will entail daily and monthly events aligned to the marketing calendar and quarterly collaboration release events. They will also be responsible for capturing key moments via social (launch, events, daily events, etc.) and for encouraging consumers to bring social media in-store. The Assistant Manager will be the right hand to the Store Director - able to step in where needed while driving the business through their expertise in the Event and Social Media space.

-    4+ years of relevant beauty experience; Event planning/Studio/Event management and or alternative retail background a plus 
-    CA State cosmetology license preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-    Attract, identify, hire and retain new members/make up artist
-    Empower and engage the team
-    Approve and execute event schedules
-    Manage studio budget and track productivity and product stock
-    Oversee social media engagement
-    Execute collaborations in-store 
-    Establish relationships with neighborhood vendors (main contact) 
-    Launch strong, stay strong with the Studio and new product releases
-    Be a role model for high quality, hands-on, floor management 
-    Successfully and consistently communicate team wins, priorities, best practices to deliver legendary execution 
-    Ensure store’s merchandising concepts are maintained and set up at all times
-    Oversee administrative responsibilities and operations of the store
